Flayosc, Salernes & Tourtour
The villages are the perfect location to relax and enjoy the beauty of
Provence, only 40 minutes away from the busy tourist spots of the
Mediterranean coast.
Within an hour's drive you can visit the St. Tropez bay, the ruins of
Frejus, an historic Abbey, Medieval sites and Gorges de Verdon, the
Grand Canyon of Europe.
Worth mentioning is that also within an hour's drive, there are 10
challenging golf courses in stunning scenery.
All three villages offer excellent shops for food, a weekly market,
pharmacy, bank, several bars and notable restaurants,
laundry/drycleaner, wine cooperative and a tourist office.
Salernes is the Provencal centre for the ceramic and terracotta
industry and there are 15 factories in or near the village that make
hand-made tiles.
